Russ Parks

Russ Parks was born in Chicago, Illinois. He remembers growing up working on cars with his Father and spending the summer time welding in the mills. After attending a trade school for mechanics, Russ began a career of commercial driving in 1989 that gave him the opportunity to travel through all lower 48 states, plus Canada and Alaska.

Russ transitioned from being a driver to becoming an agent, which enabled him to use his vast experience in the trucking industry to not only bring more value to his customers, but to also provide a voice for his drivers, as someone who knows exactly what it is like to operate a truck. He has a passion for drivers, the trucking industry and everything that goes into “Moving America”.

When not Moving America is his role as Vice President of AGX’s Central Capacity Asset Division, Russ can be found in his garage building old cars. Russ, and his wife, Cortney, have 4 sons and a daughter, plus two “spoiled” dogs. They also raise chickens.
