Kim Watson promoted to Vice President, Business Services & Human Resources
Industry veteran promoted from director role to lead business services and HR for Jacksonville-based transportation and logistics company.
Jacksonville, Florida: AGX Freight is pleased to announce the promotion of Kim Watson to Vice President, Business Services and Human Resources. In her new role, Watson assumes the responsibility for managing the company’s comprehensive back-office business services, as well as human resources for the expanding transportation and logistics network. The company has experienced over 60% growth in its personnel over the last 12 months.
Watson has played an integral role for AGX Freight since 2016, overseeing nearly every aspect of the company’s administrative functions. As the company has grown, so too has Watson’s contributions over the years, earning her the promotion to Vice President from her previous role as Director of Business Services and HR. Watson got her start in the transportation sector in 2005 with NYK Logistics, working in Agent & Carrier Relations. She served in similar positions with Eleets Transportation from 2008 to 2012 and with Sunteck from 2012 to 2016.
